Industry has changed dramatically in recent years. There are
new solutions needed, new ideas and a new breed of used machine
dealer”. Through the transparency of the Internet (e.g. PressXchange:
the world's leading internet platform for used graphic machinery)
customers now have direct access to presses world wide. We believe
that, in consequence, dealers have to adapt to this change in the
market and customers' needs; large profits and organisations have
to be a thing of the past: service, flexibility and, above all,
value for money is what will count in the future.

How do we propose to adapt?
Our solution: We keep our overhead
costs to a minimum, e.g. no large
office premises, no big warehouse etc. We're
lean and mean! We sell most of our machinery direct from German
Printers, so y ou can inspect and print test all machines in production.
In reality, the only factors we can
really influence as a used machine dealer are the fixed costs
and the amount of profit we demand. Market forces determine
the prices. Our Presses are more competitive because of our low
overheads and modest margins.
Every customer who buys used wants
to save money.
Although we are a German company
selling quality German machines, our chairman, Eddie Molloy ,
was born and bred in Scotland (the home of Braveheart) : “we
Scots are renowned for our thriftiness and it's our natural instinct
to save money! At MGM we do this especially for the benefit of
our Customers to ensure they get best value !

You are always dealing directly with
the decision maker. Today Speed is one of the most important ingredients.
We offer 2 – 12 colour Presses;
Heidelberg, Roland, KBA, Komori, Ryobi etc .
We buy/sell mainly direct from German
Printers and have established close ties with manufacturer's agencies
and get full support from them when we need it .
We sell Presses costing between
EURO 100.000 and 1.000.000.
Handling Presses of such value should
only be done with people you know and trust.
Relationships
We take great pride in establishing
and maintaining strong working and personal relationships. Trust
and reliability are an integral part of our company and practiced
daily. The proof of this is that last year alone most of our customers
came back and bought at least one further Press.
Another prime example of the “Special
Relationships” and confidence we have built up with our customers
is that a number of them send us deposits in advance and tell us
to find a particular machine for them which is not yet even on
the market. When the right press comes up these customers get
Top Priority treatment. None of these presses appears on the
Internet: the customer who has placed the deposit gets first
choice.
Up until now we have only mentioned
saving money, but there are areas where skimping is a false economy:
as Oscar Wilde once said: “I have very simple taste: only the best”.
This also applies to our handling of the equipment, dismantling,
packing, loading etc. On the quality and efficiency of this depends
the whole success of your purchase.
We employ the Company who move more
than 70% of all new Presses in Germany for the manufacturers. They
are more expensive but the Best - so we and our customers can sleep
at night.
